Reduction of Deductibles (Excesses)
Basic auto insurance is included in the basic rate by default. You can reduce the default deductibles (excesses) by purchasing an option.
Default Deductibles
In the event of an accident, the following shall be covered by the customer:
– JPY200,000 for damage to third party’s property
– JPY200,000 for damage to the rental car
– JPY200,000 for Non-Operation Charge (NOC)
=> A Security Deposit of JPY660,000 to be temporarily held on Your Credit/Debit Card for the duration of the rental
Half Deductibles (Flash Hakone Drive Drive: JPY2,200, Swift Hakone Drive: JPY4,400, Holy Mt. Fuji Drive/Core Hakone Drive: JPY6,600, Ultimate Hakone Drive: JPY7,700)
In the event of an accident, the following shall be covered by the customer:
– JPY100,000 for damage to third party’s property
– JPY100,000 for damage to the rental car
– JPY200,000 for Non-Operation Charge (NOC)
=> A Security Deposit of JPY440,000 to be temporarily held on Your Credit/Debit Card for the duration of the rental
Quarter Deductibles (Flash Hakone Drive: JPY3,300, Swift Hakone Drive: JPY6,600, Holy Mt. Fuji Drive/Core Hakone Drive: JPY9,900, Ultimate Hakone Drive: JPY11,000)
In the event of an accident, the following shall be covered by the customer:
– JPY50,000 for damage to third party’s property
– JPY50,000 for damage to the rental car
– JPY200,000 for Non-Operation Charge (NOC)
=> A Security Deposit of JPY330,000 to be temporarily held on Your Credit/Debit Card for the duration of the rental
